On Friday's show we - that's me and you lot, the lovely listners - fairly firmly established that Fredie (no seconf nmame required I hope) is the greatest vocaliser in the history og rock what is of eitrher British r Irish extraction. I will countenance no debate otr discussion on this matter - Idon't care where he was born Freddie wa as British as a game of Kerplunk and a mug of hot Vimto on a wet and dismal Bank Holiday Monday.
So we needed the other members of our Fantasy Rock Supergroup.
'Matt from G'n'R on drums, ngus on guitar, Lemmy on bass' said Dave in Congelton.
'Ian Paice on drums, Bruce Foxton on bass, Malcolm Young on rythm guitar and Jimmy Page on lead' offered Tom in New Mills.
'Lars on Drums, Flea on Bass, Brian May on Guitar' said Charlotte io Withington.
I liked Johnthe Mosher's suggestio though ' Jmmy Page on Lead, John aul Jones on bass, John Bonham on drums. And why not substitute Freddie for a certain Percy Plant. Beat that!'
Beat that indeed, buddy!
