Q) Worst hangover?
1966 – Cider/Australian Sweet White Wine! (had to be hosed down in the back of my mates van after being sick all over… everywhere) ill for a week!! Never again…until 1967 at Butlins Bogner Regis… same story.
Q) Who is your favourite artist/band of all time and why?
Beatles - Greatest Rock n Roll Band ever!! Created a musical revolution that is still with us now in 2008.
Q) What is the most embarrassing CD you have in your collection?
I don’t have any – I don’t do embarrassing cd’s.

Can you interview Thunder on Friday.

Q) Have you ever been arrested or have you ever been close to being arrested? If so, what was it for?
Yes! Twice, you do wanna know, but I ain’t gonna tell ya!
Q) What's the most rock 'n' roll thing you've ever done?
2 things, flown first class to Paris to spend a day interviewing & socialising with Mick Jagger (1985). Playing with my band on the same bill as the Beach Boys in front of 8,000 people at GMex (1993).
Q) What were you doing at 3am today?
Having my last hours sleep before getting up to do breakfast TV.
Q) Best piece of advice?
Count to ten.
Q) Worst nightmare?
Being buried alive.
Q) Any unfulfilled ambitions?
No. Married to the love of my life with great kids. Had a record in the top 75. Played football at Old Trafford in a competitive match. Interviewed Paul McCartney. Currently doing TV show about Manchester United. About to launch brand new Radio Station!!!
Q) Favourite joke?
The snail at Christmas…. Far too long to put in here.
Q) What's your idea of a good night out?
My best mate is my missus, so a night out with her whether it’s a good meal or a few drinks.
Q) Who’s the hottest rock chick?
When I was younger – Marianne Faithfull. Now – Duffy.
Q) What’s your favourite gig venue and why?
The Cavern in Liverpool, the birthplace of Merseybeat and the Beatles (I played there at the original venue and at the new one).
Q) What was the last film you saw in the cinema?
Simpsons Movie.
