Q) Who'd be in your fantasy supergroup?
That'd probably change every week, but at the moment it'd be: Jimi Hendrix, guitar; John Bonham, drums; Paul Rodgers, vocals; Paul McCartney, bass; and Rick Wakeman, keyboards. Imagine the noise that lot would make!
Q) What's your favourite song?
Layla Derek and the Dominoes
Q) What was the first and last gig you went too?
Rush Snakes and Arrows tour at the MEN Arena
Q) Who's your favourite artist/band of all time and why?
The Who for a number of reasons. No band gets me as excited. It must be all those loud power chords and from the classic line up of Townshend, Daltrey, Entwistle and Moon, I think Quadrophenia should be played in schools!!!! A wonderful album.
Q) What is the most embarrassing CD in your collection?
My girlfriend says they all are, but I reckon it'd have to be a Spice Girls Greatest Hits that the record company sent me. Hopefully by mistake I might add.
Q) What did the last text you receive say?
Congratulations. You Have qualified for free texts and calls this weekend. I like getting that kind of text!

Q) Have you ever been arrested or been close to being arrested? If so, what was it for?
Yes. In Germany in the seventies at gun point when on tour with a band for being drunk, rude and extremely stupid. Well, I was very young.
Q) What's the most rock 'n' roll thing you've ever done?
I was quite good at re-arranging hotel rooms (usually called wrecking). I was quite inventive I’m afraid to say. There used to be a great way of changing television sets so the picture was upside down and also one of my favourites was corn flakes and milk in the bath. It set like concrete. Both of those were fun but expensive.
Q) What were you doing at 3am today?
Sleeping? Boring but true never the less
Q) Best piece of advice?
Best piece of advice I ever received was accept what you are and have been and then move on.
Q) Worst nightmare?
Being stuck in a studio with the microphone stuck on all the time and nothing else working. Brings me out in a cold sweat that one every time.
Q) Any unfulfilled ambitions?
Kind of but they involve a very famous female actress and I couldn’t possibly tell you (good job I don’t drink anymore I’d have probably told you!!!)
Q) Favourite joke?
Well I have nothing against drummers but… these two always make me laugh.
How do you know when a drummer is knocking at your front door?
The longer you leave them there the faster the knocking gets!
Also Two drummers walk past a pub….Don’t laugh It could happen
Q) What's your idea of a good night out?
Great meal out with the girlfriend or some mates followed by a great concert. I’m easily pleased these days
Q) Who’s the hottest rock chick?
I still think Stevie Nicks is great, but Angelina Jolie does look very good in leather don’t you think? (Sorry Brad)
Q) What’s your favourite gig venue and why?
Manchester Apollo, because I've seen some great bands there and it is not too big, so wherever you are in the place you get a great view with great sound
Q) What was the last film you saw in the cinema?
10,000 BC Bit of a blokes film but great nevertheless
